Companion care provides emotional and physical assistance for seniors and disabled adults to help them feel secure and content in the comfort of their homes.

 

Personal Care

Personal care is a non-medical home care service that helps older adults and those with disabilities who need assistance with day-to-day activities such as:

  • Dressing

  • Personal grooming

  • Bathing

  • Toileting

  • Mobility and transfers

Personal caregivers can offer a helping hand with other tasks, including:

  • Errands

  • Meal preparation

  • Light housekeeping

  • Medication reminders

  • Other routine activities

Personal care—also known as “private duty care” or “private care”— typically includes a combination of tasks and activities to ensure your senior’s optimal safety, comfort, and well-being.
